does anyone have an ALMOST foolproof recipe for french macarons? I know they're pretty hard to make, I was just wondering if anyone here has a recipe they've used that turned out well.

First time poster :)......
This month was one of my best friends at universities birthday, and I decided to make it special. She had already seen I had made my boyfriend a birthday cake for his birthday last month, so she hinted what she wanted me to make, not actually thinking I would make it.
and here it is! I kind of wish I also bought some of the regular size party rings to photograph in comparison, but non the less she was extremely grateful and shocked when I walked into our local pub with it to give to her.
Before I tidied up the icing.
